In assoluto, la Mini JCW è arrivata terza, dietro ad auto ben più costose come la Porsche Cayman S e la BMW M3 Coupe, ma nella sua categoria non ha avuto rivali, grazie soprattutto al suo 1600 turbo ed al differenziale autobloccante che offre una maggior trazione all’uscita delle curve.

Questa simpatica pubblicità vede la nuova Mini Clubman nelle vesti di un flipper e le portiere posteriori diventano così le pinne che spingono la grande biglia contro diversi bersagli.
Il rumore del motore della Cooper S non è dei più esaltanti, anzi… per dirla tutta al minimo (e a freddo) la mia Mini sembra un Ford Transit Diesel dell’82; dopo un breve riscaldamento ed a più alti regimi il motore migliora molto, ma quel rumoraccio al minimo è davvero insopportabile.
