Dopo l’anteprima in inglese, ecco la versione italiana dello spot (geniale) Mini “Genio”… miaoo

Il mensile inglese EVO ha messo a confronto la nuova Mini Cooper S con la Renault Clio RS da 197 CV.
Entrambe le auto hanno subìto alcune modifiche rispetto ai modelli usciti nei primi anni 2000. Il restyling della Mini è intervenuto su tutte le parti del modello ed ha reso l’auto più affidabile, più gestibile, anche se ancora più potente e performante; lo stesso è avvenuto anche sulla Clio e possiamo affermare che entrambi i modelli hanno risolto quei piccoli problemi di gioventù presentati sulle prime versioni. Oh wow, so here I go again, eh? With the not blogging for such a long time! I can't even remember the last thing I wrote but whatever...

The past few weeks have been relatively good. When I look at what was on my mind last week, it pales in comparison to the things that were keeping me up late at night back in October. Maybe that's the reason why I've stopped fainting - for now anyways. Either way I'm happy about that. I did have to quit/resign from Future Shop though. They needed me to start working 3 shfts a week and I can do maximum 2 at the moment. However, in just a couple weeks I'll be able to work FULL TIME for Christmas so you would think they'd realize that keeping me is better than hiring a bunch of seasonal people who don't know the product and the store as well... Hm, whatever. I'm ok with that because the day I officially resigned from Future Shop, MINI Waterloo called and offered me a job on Saturdays only. Which not only meets my scheduling requirements of 1-2 shifts a week in order to stay on top of school, but MINI!!!!!!!!!!! Ok yeah, 'nuff said. You know how excited I am! :D

Also, I'm 19!!!!!!!!!! Since the 11th!! Which means, for you not in Canada, that I can go out finally!! I'm not a big partier AT ALL but I still enjoy a drink or two with friends and now those concerts that I couldn't go to in the past are open doors to me! Very exciting indeed! I just wish I had more time to spend going out and what not.

Last night, I splurged on myself and decided that I wanted a night out. Yes, on a Monday, haha. I went with Sarah W to the mall and we checked out some stores and time flew by so fast! Before we knew it the mall was closed! After the mall, Sarah and I ended up seeing James Bond: Casino Royale with Chris and Chad. The movie was pretty good! I liked all the typical James-Bond action scenes although I thought it wouldn't have killed them to show more of the gorgeous Aston Martin DBS :P Chad and I hung out at the Moose for a bit after the movie and then I came home and literally fell into bed.

I just woke up and I didn't do my homework that I planned on last night. I'll get it done during break today. Speaking of that, I have to get to class!! Class at 11:30 and it's almost 11 now and I'm still at home :O

Da Sabato 18 Novembre la nuova Mini è disponibile in tutti i concessionari Mini - BMW d’Italia. Con la presentazione ufficiale del 18 e 19 Novembre infatti si apre la stagione del nuovo modello R56.

So now that I've been 19 for almost 2 days, it's safe to reflect back on my life at 18 and what substantial things happened that year:

- I travelled to Ottawa for my birthday and walked across "the bridge" to Hull and had my first legal drink! Well, legal in Quebec I mean!
- I sold my first car, Roxy, my Acura RSX.
- I transferred universities and started my plan all over again with a new set of goals and new people around me.
- I started a whole new chapter in my life when I bought my MINI, Stella:
- Not only has owning a MINI made driving much more fun, but I also met some amazing people through the Southern Ontario MINI Club and during the purchase-process at the dealer.
- I took a 700 km road trip (to Wasaga with SOMC). This is my longest roadtrip yet, but there will be longer, I promise!
- I set a very specific goal for my future involving employment at MINI.
- I developed a passion for the little things in life like:
- the smell of the country air when driving around on open roads with the windows and sunroof all open!
- the feel of the pavement under your "feet"
- random roadtrips and discovering the "long way home" ;)
- I finally have a "thing", you know everyone has a "thing"!
- I got my heart broken and also broke his in the process. It was a mutual breaking of hearts. Don't ask how this happened. I did learn my lesson though (or did I?)
- I learned how to drive manual transmission! It's something I'm really proud of because I always thought of it as being something rather impossible to just "learn".
- I reached a healthy body through a healthy blood-type diet, exercise, and proper sleeping habits.
- I moved home again so I could maintain the "new me".
- I have also loved more than ever in the past year. Of course I'm planning on outdoing that this year :)

So there's the list, at least what I can think of. Those are a lot of the major things. Unfortunately I didn't make a list for my year as 17 years old but that would've included: going to Glendon, meeting lifelong friends in Toronto, buying my first car, etc.

Wow, lookit the cheese in this post :P Haha. Seriously though I have to get back to work. I had so much fun this weekend and the pictures from my fun-ness are on my facebook and will soon be on my Google picture thing. Sooo gnite lovers!!
