Birth Statistics About YOUR MINI:
Are you curious as to when your MINI was built? As in exact day and when it got on the boat and which boat and how many MINIs where there too and etc? I have found the website that will tell you all of this!! Maybe some of you know about it, but for me, it took some searching so I'd love to share it!

Wallenius Wilhelmsen: worldwide ocean transport
-go to "customer centre" at the top
-click on "cargo tracking"
-click on "auto cargo" on the bottomish right side
-enter your entire VIN # and then you should get the information

I'm not sure how many years you can go back, but it's worth a try anyways! Very interesting information!

Also, if you want to find out how many MINIs and of what kind were on the ship with yours, use the Booking Number or Bill (of Landing) Number to search the entire cargo.
Of the VIN #s (one of these is found in your VIN #!):
-RE33 = Cooper S
-RC33 = Cooper
-RH33 = Cooper S Convertible
-RF33 = Cooper Convertible

Almost a Year Abroad: 3 Shows down in London...

I could slow down if you want me to, but just for you

Ok, so I feel like a complete nerd right now! It's the Sunday of Thanksgiving and I am at school - at the library! - studying allllll day! I am meeting up with 4 other people in 45 min or so to have a study group. The weather is fanfreakintastic outside and I am inside studying. *sigh*... I'd better get at least 90% of this midterm! Oh by the way, it's a Macroeconomics midterm that I have on Tuesday. Not that it makes it any better, haha!

Oh!, but I have good news for you!......... 20/25 on my calculus test!! :D :D :D!! This is certainly a cause for celebration. I was getting kind of depressed and agiatated over math because of my lower than expected marks on the first two tests and I figured, that third times the charm and I'd give it one more shot. I studied like crazy and did all the practice questions at least twice. I feel really proud of myself knowing that if I put my mind to something, I can do it! We have a bigger test on the 13th though, so I hope I do as well on that one too!

Hmm, what else is new? Man, I haven't blogged in two weeks! Ok, so last weekend I went to Toronto to visit Katy. Friday was spent in class until 4ish and the in traffic for two hours and then finally I got there! We (as in me, Katy, and the only nice frosh aka Jenna) watched Son-In-Law (a Pauly Shore movie) and Pretty in Pink and had some Mickey D's for dinner. I haven't stayed up late for ages now so I fell asleep during the movies haha. I feel like such a little kid!! On Saturday, Katy and I woke up and she worked on her French assignment and then we went to the caf for lunchish (seeing as it was 11am! haha). The caf has barely changed. Almost nothing has changed. The big change that they did make, however, was moving the grilled cheese to the sandwiches menu. This was significant because since only the grill was open, I couldn't have the grilled cheese that I was craving! Oh well! I plan to visit again soon! We went to Winners and found some nice stuff (me: 2 shirts) and then it was time for Katy to head to work and me to Mississauga for the MINI meet. Pictures from the weekend are up on my facebook! Oh, one thing I forgot to mention... My superfantastic staff discount got Katy a cell phone for cheap! So now she has a cell phone! This was an exciting part of the weekend!

It was raining like crazy on the way to Mississauga. I was kinda bummed about that because I took the long way (?) to the restaurant. I took the DVP, then Gardiner, and 427 S... The traffic on the Gardiner was so horrible! Stop and go and I really wasn't expecting there to be rushhour traffic on a Saturday!! But oh well. I called Paul to let him know that I would be late and he said that he was going to be late too. I finally got there 45 minutes after the time I planned to arrive at. Martin took me outside to show me his newly acquired MINI: a 2003 Cooper S in dark silver. He got a smoking deal on it!! It was very exciting and I especially loved his plate: MINI LUV - hehe. We forgot to make reservations at Turtle Jack's (the restaurant) so we crammed into the bar area and took over almost all the chairs and a good amount of tables too. It was great to see everyone again! After dinner, we went to Tim Horton's for a some more chatting since it was still pouring rain outside. I love hanging out with MINI people. Always so much to talk about and everyone is so friendly and eager to help out!! :)

After the MINI meet, I went to see Little Miss Sunshine with Scott. It was a great movie. I wanted to see it for so long and I was glad that I did. I heard that the Last Kiss was a bad movie. Which I am pretty sad about because I expected it to be like Garden State and I loved Garden State...

Anyways, it's getting close to 3ish so I should finish up in this library where I'm borrowing the textbook and go to the other library to meet with the study group. I'm kinda worried about looking dumb at the study group. I pay attention in class and I take thorough notes but when I was going through the practice questions, I was completely lost. Hopefully I'm not the only one!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!! Hope you got to enjoy the great weather! It's a perfect day for a drive! :D
